Utilitarianism
Utilitarianism refers to the normative ideology or ideology that assesses a goal-based action to maximize the level of use, which is defined as an increase in happiness and a reduction in suffering. Classical Utilitarianism as Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill are pursuing hedonism. Utilitarianism is generally defined as an element of consequentialism, although when Anscombe begins to use the term to distinguish between "old utilitarianism" and conformity.
