Baca

Baca - manager of organized shed and pastoral economy in Polish Carpathians. Usually he was one of the richest hosts, because he had to have his own property to guarantee obligations to the owners of the sheep. In addition to being a whore, he had to respect the local population. In some regions, for example in the Gorce, a strong belief was played about his magical abilities. In the Tatra Mountains there was usually only one hut in one hall, sometimes only two or more, each of them headed by a separate pastoral team. The duties of the son were to settle with the sheep owners, make cheese and other dairy products, supervise the juhas and watch the bonfire in the hare. At present, the whales are no longer associated with wizards and oversee modern huts. Performing the bacy function is often referred to as baccarat. Recently it is also a profession. The juhas and bats were entered on the list of professions in Poland by the Regulation of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy of 27 April 2010.

Baca – kierownik zorganizowanej gospodarki szałaśniczo-pasterskiej w polskich Karpatach. Zazwyczaj był on jednym z bogatszych gospodarzy, gdyż musiał swoim majątkiem gwarantować zobowiązania wobec właścicieli owiec. Ponadto by zostać bacą, musiał mieć poważanie wśród okolicznej ludności. W niektórych regionach, np. w Gorcach, dużą rolę odgrywało przekonanie o jego czarodziejskich zdolnościach. W Tatrach na jednej hali zazwyczaj był tylko jeden baca, czasami tylko dwóch lub więcej, wówczas każdy z nich kierował odrębnym zespołem pasterskim. Do obowiązków bacy należało rozliczanie się z właścicielami owiec, wyrabianie sera i innych produktów mlecznych, nadzór nad juhasami oraz pilnowanie ogniska w bacówce. Obecnie bacowie nie są już kojarzeni z czarodziejami i nadzorują współczesne bacówki. Spełnianie funkcji bacy jest często określane bacowaniem. Od niedawna baca jest także zawodem. Zawody juhasa i bacy zostały wpisane na listę zawodów w Polsce za sprawą rozporządzenia ministra pracy i polityki społecznej z 27 kwietnia 2010 r.
