Efod - a robe worn by high priests in Ancient Israel as part of the liturgical dress - these were two sheets made mainly of fine linen with a strap on the shoulders. On the front lobe was placed a pectoral where urim and tummim were stored. The word "ephod" is a homonym, but the remaining meaning is not clear.

Efod – szata noszona przez arcykapłanów w Starożytnym Izraelu jako część stroju liturgicznego – były to dwa płaty wykonane głównie z bisioru połączone paskiem na ramionach. Na przednim płacie umieszczony był pektorał, w którym przechowywano urim i tummim. Wyraz "efod" jest homonimem, lecz pozostałe jego znaczenia nie są do końca jasne.
