ependyma

Padding

Wyściółka

Lining - a layer of a series of cubic cells, often falsely called the epithelium, originating from the epithelium of the neural tube, covering the walls of the cerebral ventricular system: cerebral and cerebral ventricles, as well as the central spinal canal. Lining cells, otherwise ependymocytes, are the type of glial cells, they have numerous microvilli on the surface facing the ventricles. The ependyma of the cerebral blood barrier is involved in the exchange of substance between the cerebrospinal fluid and the neural tissue. Wyściółka – warstwa szeregu sześciennych komórek, często błędnie nazywanego nabłonkiem, pochodzącego z nabłonka cewy nerwowej, pokrywająca ściany układu komorowego mózgowia: komór mózgu i wodociągu mózgu, a także kanału środkowego rdzenia kręgowego. Komórki wyściółki, inaczej ependymocyty, są typem komórek glejowych, posiadają liczne mikrokosmki na powierzchni zwróconej do światła komór. Funkcją ependymy wchodzącej w skład bariery krew-mózg jest uczestniczenie w wymianie substancji pomiędzy płynem mózgowo-rdzeniowym a tkanką nerwową.
