Grant - financial or non-financial support for a person or organization to accomplish a specific purpose, which is most often awarded by individual states, their organs, international organizations, international organizations, universities, religious associations, foundations and associations. Often, grants are offered by individual companies for the implementation of projects that deal with the subject matter of the business. Rarely, grants are awarded by private individuals. Many organizations and companies have whole complex award schemes. In order to receive a grant, you should usually complete the appropriate proposal for the grant, with a justification, which may also include a report on the current activity of the applicant or applicant. These applications are evaluated by the grant sponsor who chooses the most interesting ones to implement, proposing a specific way to fund them or help in the organization. This method is usually regulated in detail in the agreement between the grant organizer and his beneficiary.

Grant – wsparcie finansowe lub pozafinansowe dla osoby bądź organizacji, mające za zadanie realizację określonego celu, które najczęściej jest przyznawane przez poszczególne państwa, ich organy, organizacje międzynarodowe, instytucje organizacji międzynarodowych, uczelnie wyższe, związki wyznaniowe, rozmaite fundacje, stowarzyszenia. Często granty są oferowane przez poszczególne firmy najczęściej na realizację projektów, które dotyczą przedmiotu działalności tych firm. Znacznie rzadziej granty są udzielane przez osoby prywatne. Wiele organizacji i firm posiadają całe złożone systemy konkursowe przyznawania grantów. Aby otrzymać grant należy zazwyczaj wypełnić odpowiedni wniosek dotyczący oferowanego grantu wraz z uzasadnieniem, które może zawierać także sprawozdanie z dotychczasowej działalności osoby lub organizacji ubiegającej się o grant. Wnioski te są oceniane przez fundatora grantu, który wybiera najciekawsze z nich do realizacji, proponując określony sposób ich finansowania bądź pomocy w organizacji. Sposób ten jest zwykle szczegółowo regulowany w umowie pomiędzy organizatorem grantu a jego beneficjentem.
