Harmattan - a strong, northeasterly wind blowing in the dry season from the Sahara to the Gulf of Guinea, as well as to the west coast of North Africa. Dry, dusty and hot winds, which bring a significant decrease in relative humidity up to 1%. Harmattan – silny, północno-wschodni wiatr wiejący w porze suchej znad Sahary na wybrzeże Zatoki Gwinejskiej, a także na zachodnie wybrzeże Afryki Północnej. Suchy, pylny i gorący wiatr pasatowy przynoszący znaczny spadek względnej wilgotności powietrza nawet do 1%.
