Paraplegia, diplegia - transverse paralysis. Neurological disease consisting of end-stage palsy, most often affecting the lower limbs. It is caused by damage to the spinal cord at different levels or brain damage. Paraplegia, diplegia - porażenie poprzeczne. Schorzenie neurologiczne polegające na porażeniu dwukończynowym, najczęściej dotyczy kończyn dolnych. Jest spowodowane uszkodzeniem rdzenia kręgowego na różnych poziomach lub uszkodzeniem mózgu.
