Asterix

Asterix or Asterix, is a series of comics created in France by Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny in the year 1959, based on the Gallic people and largely in the time of his great warrior chief Vercingetorix. After the death of Goscinny in 1977, Uderzo continued the work. In 2013, two years after Uderzo announced his retirement, the first album by other artists, Asterix Entre os Pictos, by Jean-Yves Ferri and Didier Conrad, was released. Albert Uderzo announced his retirement at the end of September 2010 at the age of 84, after reaching the historic mark of 350 million units sold worldwide and several languages. The first publications appeared in the magazine Pilote, soon in the first number 29 of October of 1959. The first album Asterix the Gaul, was published in 1961. From which, they began to be released annually. Asterix's stories have been translated into 83 languages ​​and 29 dialects, including European / Brazilian Portuguese and Mirandese, being very popular in Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Africa and Asia.
