Coca

Coca is a plant of the family Erythroxylaceae, its scientific name is Erythroxylum coca. Native to Bolivia and Peru, it has shrub / arboreal bearing and may be leafy, its flowers are yellowish-white, small and aromatic, solitary or gathered in summits, drupaceous fruits oblong, red, and whose leaves have 14 alkaloids, and among them they use cocaine. Coca é uma planta da família Erythroxylaceae, seu nome científico é Erythroxylum coca. Nativa da Bolívia e do Peru, tem porte arbustivo/arbóreo e pode ficar frondosa, suas flores são amarelo-alvacentas, pequenas e aromáticas, solitárias ou reunidas em cimeiras, os frutos drupáceos oblongos, vermelhos, e cujas folhas possuem 14 alcaloides, e dentre eles a cocaína.
