Vibrato

Vibrato

The technique called vibrato consists of the oscillation of a string of a musical instrument, using a finger, thus producing a distinct, "vibrant" sound, as the name suggests. This technique is also used with the violin family, that is, in general, in other string instruments. It can also be applied to wind instruments by vibrating the diaphragm.
