Leasing - is a commercial transaction whereby a party named locator / financier sends to the other party, at the request of the latter, for a periodic payment called the lease, the right to use a good whose owner remains for a fixed period of time. Throughout the contract, which is at least 12 months in accordance with the law, the leasing company remains the owner of the asset subject to the lease. Under the law, leasing operations are classified as finance leases and operating leases. In the case of financial leasing, deductibility occurs at amortization and lease rates. The residual value is 20%. In this case, the amortization is made to the user, the ownership remaining with the leasing company. The leasing company must provide expressly in the lease the purchase option. In the case of financial leasing, the user takes possession of the asset once the residual value has been paid.
