Serpentine f. 1) The winding road, built specifically to ease the slope climb. 2) Turn of such a road. 3) A long and narrow strip of colored paper, wrapped tightly, which, being thrown away, runs in spiral shape and is used as a means of party entertainment. 4) Spiral tube used as a heat exchanger. SERPENTÍNĂ ~e f. 1) Drum șerpuit, construit special pentru a ușura urcușul în pantă. 2) Cotitură a unui astfel de drum. 3) Fâșie lungă și îngustă de hârtie colorată, înfășurată strâns, care, fiind aruncată, se desfășoară în formă de spirală și este folosită drept mijloc de amuzament la petreceri. 4) Tub în formă de spirală folosit ca schimbător de căldură.
