Demonology
Demonology is a collection of mythical folk beliefs and beliefs based on belief in the existence of evil spirits. The demon is a generalized idea of a certain indefinite and unformed divine power of evil, or less, of goodness. Early Christian representations of demons are associated with the image of evil, demonic power. The demon is the symbol of those supernatural characters who are not gods and occupy the place in the hierarchy in comparison with the gods, or are at lower levels in this mythological system. In a narrower and precise sense, demons are evil spirits.
