Functional analysis
Functional analysis (English): functional analysis is a branch of modern mathematical analysis, belonging to the analysis, the main object of the study is the function of the functional space. Functional analysis of historical roots is a study of the study of functional space and the transformation of functions (such as Fourier transform). This view proves to be particularly useful in the study of differential equations and integral equations. The use of the word function as a representation from the variational method represents the function of the function, which means that the function of a function is a function. This term was first used by Adama in the book of the subject in 1910. Is one of the main founders of functional analysis theory. However, the general concept of the functional was previously introduced in 1887 by the Italian mathematician and physicist Vito Volterra. The nonlinear functional theory is continued by Adama's students, especially Maurice Fréchet and Levy. Adama also founded a modern school of linear functional analysis and was further developed by Reese and a group of Polish mathematicians surrounding Stefan Banach. ...
