Timing
The basic meaning of the timing is to provide time information for other devices or systems through standard or custom interfaces and protocols. The basic channel is shortwave, TV signal, cable, network and so on. Timing accuracy ranges from nanoseconds (ns) to milliseconds (ms), mainly by atomic clocks, satellite systems, networks, high-stability oscillators, etc. as a time source. As the system becomes larger and more complex, the requirements for time synchronization and time accuracy are increasing, and the field of application is greatly expanded: ▪ Telecommunications ▪ Electricity ▪ Finance ▪ Computer systems ▪ Networking ▪ Distributed data collection ▪ Defense ▪ E-government ...
