Astrology (Almagest or translated into the big argument) is the Egyptian Alexander astronomer Ptolemy in the 140 years before and after the compilation of a mathematics, astronomy monograph. The English name of the book is derived from the Arabic الكتاب المجسطي, al-kitabu-l-mijisti, meaning "great book". Astronomy is first written in Greek, called Μαθηματικἠ Σύνταξις (Mathematikē Sýntaxis, after the title to Hē Megálē Sýntaxis, great paper) proposed a complex path of stars and planets. Until the middle of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, the book presented the geocentric model that was accepted by Islam and European society for over a thousand years. Astronomy is the most important source of information for ancient Greek astronomy. The book is also very valuable to math scholars, because it records the ancient Greek mathematician Yiba Valley has lost the book.
