Desplazamiento angular
El desplazamiento angular de un cuerpo es el ángulo en radianes (grados, revoluciones) a través del cual se ha girado un punto o una línea en un sentido especificado sobre un eje especificado. Cuando un objeto gira alrededor de su eje, el movimiento no puede ser simplemente analizado como una partícula, ya que en movimiento circular experimenta una velocidad y aceleración cambiantes en cualquier momento (t). Cuando se trata de la rotación de un objeto, se hace más simple considerar el propio cuerpo rígido. Un cuerpo se considera generalmente rígido cuando las separaciones entre todas las partículas permanecen constantes a través del movimiento de los objetos, así que por ejemplo partes de su masa no están volando. En un sentido realista, todas las cosas pueden ser deformables, sin embargo, este impacto es mínimo e insignificante. Por lo tanto, la rotación de un cuerpo rígido sobre un eje fijo se denomina movimiento rotacional.
