Bric-à-brac o Bric-a-brac, usado por primera vez en la época victoriana, se refiere a objetos de arte menores que forman colecciones de objetos curiosos, como tazas de té elaboradamente decoradas y jarrones pequeños, composiciones de plumas o flores de cera bajo cúpulas de vidrio, Cáscaras de huevo decoradas, figurillas de porcelana, miniaturas pintadas o fotografías en bastidores, etc. En los hogares de clase media bric-à-brac se usaba como adorno en repisas de chimenea, mesas y estanterías desordenadas, o se mostraba en los gabinetes de curiosidades: a veces estos gabinetes tienen puertas de cristal para mostrar los elementos dentro de ellos, protegiéndolos del polvo. "Bric-à-brac" hoy en día se refiere a una selección de artículos de valor modesto, a menudo se vende en los mercados callejeros. Edith Wharton y Ogden Codman Jr., en The Decoration of Houses, distinguió tres grados de calidad en tales "adornos domésticos": bric-à-brac, bibelots y objetos de arte.
