Cestui que / sɛstwi keɪ /, también cestuy que, es una versión abreviada de cestui a que use le feoffment fuit fait, literalmente, "La persona para cuyo uso se hizo el feoffment". Es una ley francesa frase de invención medieval inglesa, la cual aparece en las frases legales cestui que confianza, cestui que use, o cestui que vie. En inglés contemporáneo la frase también se pronuncia comúnmente "setty-kay" o "sesty-kay". Según Roebuck, Cestui que el uso se pronuncia "setticky yuce". Cestui que uso y cestui que confianza son términos más o menos intercambiables. En algunos materiales medievales, la frase se ve como cestui a que. El uso de cestui que es la persona para cuyo beneficio se crea la confianza. El cestui que trust es la persona que tiene derecho a una propiedad equitativa, en contraposición a una legal. Por lo tanto, si la tierra se concede a la utilización de A en fideicomiso para B, A es cestui que fideicomiso, y B trustee, o el uso. El término, principalmente debido a su naturaleza engorrosa, ha sido virtualmente reemplazado en el derecho moderno por el de "beneficiario", y el derecho general de los fideicomisos.
