La ética, a veces conocida como la ética filosófica, la teoría ética, la teoría moral y la filosofía moral, es una rama de la filosofía que implica sistematizar, defender y recomendar conceptos de conducta correcta e incorrecta, abordando a menudo las disputas de la diversidad moral. El término proviene de la palabra griega ἠθικός ethikos de ἦθος ethos, que significa "costumbre, hábito".
