Film noir es un término cinematográfico usado principalmente para describir los dramas de Hollywood con estilo, particularmente aquellos que enfatizan actitudes cínicas y motivaciones sexuales. El período clásico de Hollywood de la película noir se considera generalmente que extiende de los 1940s tempranos a los últimos años 50.
