La ciudad metropolitana de Tameside es una ciudad metropolitana de Gran Manchester en el noroeste de Inglaterra. Se llama así por el río Tame, que atraviesa la ciudad y abarca las ciudades de Ashton-under-Lyne, Audenshaw, Denton, Droylsden, Dukinfield, Hyde, Mossley y Stalybridge. Limita Derbyshire al este, la ciudad metropolitana de Oldham al norte, la ciudad metropolitana de Stockport al sur, y la ciudad de Manchester al oeste. Tameside tiene una población de 214.400.
