Anaphase
L'anaphase, de l'ancien grec ἀνά et φάσις, est le stade de la mitose ou de la méiose lorsque les chromosomes sont divisés et les chromatides sœurs se déplacent vers des pôles opposés de la cellule. L'anaphase représente environ 1% de la durée du cycle cellulaire. Il commence par le déclenchement régulé de la transition métaphase à anaphase. La métaphase se termine par la destruction de B cycline. B cycline est marquée par l'ubiquitine qui la draine pour la destruction par les protéasomes, ce qui est nécessaire pour la fonction des kinases métaphase cycline-dépendantes. L'anaphase commence lorsque le complexe de promotion de l'anaphase marque une chaperonne inhibitrice appelée securine avec ubiquitine pour destruction. La securine est une protéine qui inhibe une protéase appelée separase. La destruction de Securin libère separase qui décompose la cohésion, une protéine responsable de la tenue de chromatides sœurs ensemble. Les centromères sont divisés, et les nouveaux chromosomes filles sont tirés vers les pôles. Ils prennent une forme en V car ils sont retirés.
