Système de points bonus en union de rugby
Le système de points bonus de l'union de rugby est une méthode pour décider des points de table d'un match d'union de rugby. Il a été mis en place afin d'encourager l'attaque du jeu tout au long d'une rencontre, de décourager les coups de pied répétitifs et de récompenser les équipes pour «se rapprocher» des efforts perdus. Sous le système standard, les points sont attribués comme suit: ▪ 4 points pour une victoire. ▪ 2 points pour un tirage au sort. ▪ 1 point «bonus» pour marquer 4 essais. ▪ 1 point "bonus" pour perdre 7 points. Aucune équipe ne peut obtenir plus de 5 points en match. La ligue professionnelle française, Ligue Nationale de Rugby, utilise un système similaire dans ses deux compétitions, le Top 14 et Rugby Pro D2. Après avoir trié le système en 2007-2008, LNR a adopté le nouveau système en permanence après cette saison. Le système français attribue les points de cette manière: ▪ 4 points pour une victoire. ▪ 2 points pour un tirage au sort. ▪ 1 point «bonus» pour gagner tout en marquant au moins 3 essais de plus que l'adversaire. ▪ 1 point "bonus" pour perdre 7 points. Ce système empêche une équipe perdante de prendre deux points bonus dans le même match, comme cela est possible dans le système normal.
