Bertolt Brecht (/ brɛkt /; allemand: (écouter), né Eugen Berthold Friedrich Brecht (aide · info), 10 février 1898 - 14 août 1956) était un poète, dramaturge, réalisateur de théâtre et marxiste allemand. Praticienne de théâtre du 20ème siècle, Brecht a contribué à la dramaturgie et à la production théâtrale, ce dernier lors des tournées effectuées par l'Ensemble Berliner - la compagnie de théâtre d'après-guerre exploitée par Brecht et son épouse, collaboratrice et actrice Helene Weigel.
