Viande de brousse
La viande de brousse est la viande provenant d'animaux sauvages chassés en Afrique et en Asie. Le terme a été particulièrement utilisé pour désigner la viande provenant d'animaux en Afrique de l'Ouest et du Centre. Aujourd'hui, le terme est souvent utilisé pour désigner un plus grand nombre de pays et surtout en ce qui concerne la chasse aux espèces de singes menacés d'extinction. À Trinité-et-Tobago, on l'appelle également la viande sauvage. De nombreux organismes de conservation se sont réunis pour aborder le phénomène de la viande de brousse grâce à la formation du Groupe de travail sur la crise de la campagne Bushme, dont la mission est de construire une circonscription publique, professionnelle et gouvernementale visant à identifier et soutenir des solutions qui répondent efficacement à la crise de la viande de brousse en Afrique et autour le monde.
