Dialectique
La dialectique est une méthode d'argument pour résoudre le désaccord qui a été au centre de la philosophie européenne et indienne depuis l'antiquité. Le mot dialectique est originaire de la Grèce antique et a été rendu populaire par Platon dans les dialogues socratiques. La méthode dialectique est le discours entre deux ou plusieurs personnes qui ont des points de vue différents sur un sujet qui souhaitent établir la vérité de la matière, guidée par des arguments motivés. Le terme dialectique n'est pas synonyme de terme de débat. Alors qu'en théorie les débauteurs ne sont pas forcément impliqués émotionnellement dans leur point de vue, en pratique les débats affichent fréquemment un engagement émotionnel qui peut nuire au jugement rationnel. Les débats sont gagnés par une combinaison de persuasion de l'adversaire; Prouver son argument correct; Ou prouver l'argument de l'adversaire incorrect. Les débats ne nécessitent pas nécessairement d'identifier rapidement un gagnant ou un perdant clair; Toutefois, les gagnants clairs sont souvent déterminés par un juge, un jury ou un consensus de groupe. Le terme dialectique n'est pas non plus synonyme du terme de rhétorique, d'une méthode ou d'un art du discours qui cherche à persuader, à informer ou à motiver un public.
