La production de West End, dirigée par Bettinson, a ouvert ses portes le 26 octobre 1995 au Victoria Palace Theatre, où elle a duré dix-sept mois. Le casting comprenait Brian Conley comme Jolson, Sally Ann Triplett comme Keeler, et John Bennett comme Epstein. Sous les auspices des Laurence Olivier Awards, il a remporté le prix American Express Award pour la meilleure nouvelle musique.
