Politique de gauche
Dans la politique de gauche à droite, les politiques de gauche sont des positions politiques ou des activités qui acceptent ou soutiennent l'égalité sociale, souvent en opposition à la hiérarchie sociale et à l'inégalité sociale. Il est généralement justifié en se basant sur les préoccupations de ceux qui sont perçus comme défavorisés par rapport à d'autres et supposent qu'il existe des inégalités injustifiées qui doivent être réduites ou supprimées. Les termes politiques de gauche et de droite ont été inventés pendant la Révolution française, en se référant à l'arrangement des sièges dans les États généraux: ceux qui étaient assis à gauche s'opposaient généralement à la monarchie et soutenaient la révolution, y compris la création d'une république et de la sécularisation, Le droit soutenait les institutions traditionnelles de l'Ancien Régime. L'utilisation du terme «Gauche» est devenue plus importante après la restauration de la monarchie française en 1815 lorsqu'elle a été appliquée aux «Indépendants». Le terme a ensuite été appliqué à un certain nombre de mouvements, en particulier le républicanisme pendant la Révolution française, le socialisme, le communisme et l'anarchisme.
