Menander
Menander était un dramaturge grec et le représentant le plus connu de la nouvelle comédie athénienne. Il a été l'auteur de plus d'une centaine de comédies, et a pris huit fois le prix au festival Lenaia. Son record à City Dionysia est inconnu mais peut-être a été spectaculaire. L'un des écrivains les plus populaires de l'antiquité, son travail a été perdu au Moyen Âge et est connu dans la modernité sous une forme très fragmentaire, dont une grande partie a été découverte au 20ème siècle. Un seul jeu, Dyskolos, a survécu presque entièrement.
