Micro-organisme
Un microorganisme est un organisme microscopique, qui peut être une seule cellule ou un organisme multicellulaire. L'étude des microorganismes s'appelle microbiologie, un sujet qui a débuté avec la découverte des microorganismes d'Antonie van Leeuwenhoek en 1675, en utilisant un microscope de son propre design. Les microorganismes sont essentiels au recyclage des éléments nutritifs dans les écosystèmes car ils agissent comme des décomposeurs.
