Morne Mountains
Les Morne Mountains / Mɔərn / MOHRN, également appelées Mournes ou montagnes de Morne, sont une chaîne de montagnes de granit dans le comté de Down, au sud-est de l'Irlande du Nord. Il comprend les plus hautes montagnes d'Irlande du Nord et de la province d'Ulster. Le plus élevé est Slieve Donard à 850 mètres. Le Mournes est une zone de beauté naturelle exceptionnelle et a été proposé comme premier parc national en Irlande du Nord. La zone est en partie la propriété de National Trust et voit un grand nombre de visiteurs chaque année. Le nom Morne dérive du nom d'un clann gaélique ou sept appelé Múghdhorna.
