Soviétisation
La soviétisation est un terme qui peut être utilisé avec deux significations distinctes: ▪ l'adoption d'un système politique basé sur le modèle des soviets. ▪ l'adoption d'un mode de vie et d'une mentalité inspirés de l'Union soviétique. Une vague remarquable de soviétisation a eu lieu pendant et après la Seconde Guerre mondiale en Europe de l'Est. Dans un sens large, il s'agissait notamment de l'adoption d'institutions, de lois, de coutumes, de traditions et de mode de vie soviétique, tant au niveau national que dans les communautés plus petites. Cela a été généralement promu et accéléré par une propagande visant à créer un mode de vie commun dans tous les états de la sphère d'influence soviétique. Dans de nombreux cas, la soviétisation a également été accompagnée d'une réinstallation forcée de grandes catégories d'«ennemis de classe» dans les camps de travail de Gulag et les colonies d'exil. Dans un sens étroit, le terme de soviétisation est souvent appliqué aux changements sociaux et mentaux au sein de la population de l'Union soviétique et à ses satellites qui ont conduit à la création du nouvel homme soviétique ou à l'homo Sovieticus.
