C'est généralement l'opposé d'une injonction prohibitive, mais il existe des injonctions obligatoires qui ont un effet similaire à une performance spécifique. En vertu de la common law, les performances spécifiques n'étaient pas un remède, les droits d'un avocat se limitant à la perception des dommages et intérêts.
