Un stencil est une mince feuille de matériau, comme le papier, le plastique, le bois ou le métal, avec des lettres ou une coupe dessinée, utilisé pour produire les lettres ou la conception sur une surface sous-jacente en appliquant du pigment à travers les trous découpés Matériel. L'avantage clé d'un stencil est qu'il peut être réutilisé pour produire de manière répétée et rapide les mêmes lettres ou le même design.
