L'humeur de subjonctif
Le subjonctif est une ambiance grammaticale trouvée dans de nombreuses langues. Les formes subjonctives de verbes sont généralement utilisées pour exprimer divers états d'irréalité tels que le souhait, l'émotion, la possibilité, le jugement, l'opinion, la nécessité ou l'action qui ne s'est pas encore produite; les situations précises dans lesquelles elles sont utilisées varient d'une langue à l'autre. Le subjonctif est une ambiance irréaliste - il est souvent contrasté avec l'indicatif, ce qui est une réalité. Les subjonctifs se produisent le plus souvent, bien que non exclusivement, dans des clauses subordonnées, en particulier celles-ci. Des exemples d'utilisation subjuguente peuvent être trouvés dans les phrases anglaises "Je vous suggère de faire attention" et "Il est important qu'il reste à vos côtés". Le sous-conjoint peut être désigné par l'abréviation de glissement sjv ou sbjv. On l'appelle parfois l'humeur conjoncturelle, comme cela se trouve surtout dans les clauses introduites par une conjonction.
