Teddy Boy est une sous-culture britannique typifiée par de jeunes hommes qui portaient des vêtements qui étaient en partie inspirés par les styles utilisés par les dandies dans la période édouardienne, les styles que les tailleurs de Savile Row avaient tenté de réintroduire en Grande-Bretagne après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La sous-culture a débuté à Londres dans les années 1950 et s'est rapidement répandue à travers le Royaume-Uni, tout en devenant fortement associée au rock and roll. À l'origine connu sous le nom de Cosh Boys, le nom de Teddy Boy a été inventé lorsqu'un journal quotidien du quotidien Daily 1953 raccourcit Edwardian à Teddy. Les jeunes hommes riches, en particulier les officiers de la garde, ont adopté le style de l'ère édouardienne.
