Température thermodynamique
La température thermodynamique est la mesure absolue de la température et c'est l'un des principaux paramètres de la thermodynamique. La température thermodynamique est définie par la troisième loi de la thermodynamique dans laquelle la température théoriquement la plus basse est le point nul ou nul. À ce stade, appelé zéro absolu, les constituants de particules de la matière ont un mouvement minimal et ne peuvent devenir plus froids. Dans la description quantique-mécanique, la matière au zéro absolu est dans son état fondamental, qui est son état d'énergie la plus basse. La température thermodynamique est souvent appelée température absolue, pour deux raisons: une, proposée par Kelvin, qu'elle ne dépend pas des propriétés d'un matériau particulier; Deux qu'il se réfère à un zéro absolu selon les propriétés du gaz idéal. Le Système international d'unités spécifie une échelle particulière pour la température thermodynamique. Il utilise l'échelle Kelvin pour la mesure et sélectionne le point triple d'eau à 273.16K comme point de fixation fondamental. D'autres échelles ont été utilisées historiquement.
