Arsen

L'arsenic - un élément chimique du groupe nitrite avec des propriétés métalloïdes. Se produit dans la croûte terrestre à 2,5 ppm. Il produit plus de 200 minéraux, dont les plus communs sont l'arsénopyrite, la lénite, l'orpiment et le réalgar. Souvent aussi accompagnant les dépôts de sulfures d'autres métaux, tels que les pyrites, les chalcopyrites, le gallium, le mélange de zinc. Dans la nature, l'arsenic se trouve également dans un nombre relativement important de composés d'arsenic. Ceux-ci comprennent, par exemple, l'acide carboxylique et d'autres acides arséniques, les dérivés organiques de l'arsenic, les analogues d'arsenic de biomolécules, par exemple l'arsenobétain ou l'arsénocholine. Les sources naturelles d'arsenic dans la nature comprennent les éruptions volcaniques et la lixiviation de l'arsenic des roches sédimentaires et magmatiques. Comme sources anthropiques sont mentionnés: les émissions de sous-produits à la suite des processus miniers et métallurgiques des métaux non ferreux, la combustion des combustibles miniers. Tworzy ponad 200 minerałów, z których najbardziej rozpowszechnione są: arsenopiryt, lelingit, orpiment, realgar. Często towarzyszący także złożom siarczkowym innych metali, np. pirytom, chalkopirytom, galenie, blendzie cynkowej. W naturze arsen występuje również w stosunkowo dużej liczbie związków arsenoorganicznych. Są to np. kwas kakodylowy i inne kwasy arsenoorganiczne, organiczne pochodne arsyny, arsenowe analogi biocząsteczek, np. arsenobetaina lub arsenocholina. Do naturalnych źródeł arsenu w przyrodzie zalicza się erupcje wulkanów i ługowanie arsenu ze skał osadowych i magmowych. Jako źródła antropogeniczne wymienia się: uboczną emisję w wyniku procesów wydobycia i hutnictwa rud metali nieżelaznych, spalanie paliw kopalnianych. Łączna produkcja arsenu na świecie wynosi około 35 000 ton, z czego jedynie 3% stanowi czysty metal. Największymi jego producentami są Chiny i Chile.
