Defenestrazione

La defenestrazione è l'atto di gettare qualcuno o qualcosa fuori da una finestra. Il termine fu coniato intorno al tempo di un incidente nel castello di Praga nel 1618. La parola viene dal latino de- e fenestra. Allo stesso modo, può anche riferirsi alla condizione di essere gettato fuori da una finestra, come in "The Defenestration of Ermintrude Inch". Mentre l'atto di defenestrazione connota la rimozione forzata o perentoria di un avversario, e il termine viene talvolta utilizzato in quel senso, suggerisce anche di rompere le finestre nel processo.
