Nelle cuciture e nei vestiti, un increspatura, un fiocco o un sottofondo è una striscia di tessuto, pizzo o nastro strettamente raccolti o pieghettati su un bordo e applicati ad un indumento, alla biancheria da letto o ad un altro tessuto come una forma di taglio. Il termine flounce è un tipo particolare di manipolazione del tessuto che crea un aspetto simile ma con meno massa. Il termine deriva da termini precedenti di frounce o fronce. Un effetto ondulato effettuato senza raccoglie o pieghe viene creato tagliando una striscia curva di tessuto e applicando il bordo interno o più corto all'indumento. La profondità della curva e la larghezza del tessuto determinano la profondità del flounce. Un godet è un cuneo di cerchio che può essere inserito in un flounce per approfondire ulteriormente l'onda galleggiante esterna senza aggiungere massa aggiuntiva al punto di attaccamento al corpo dell'abbigliamento, come ad esempio l'orlo, il colletto o il manicotto. Le increspature appaiono alle scollature delle visiere delle camicie piene nel XV secolo, si sono evolute nel cedimento separato del XVI secolo. Le increspature e le increspature rimasero una forma di moda di moda, in assenza di tempi moderni.
