Valsはオーストリアの3/4時間のダンスです。 最も顕著な特徴は、ペアがしっかりと一緒に保持し、ポイントの周りを踊ることです。 アウトレットは、16世紀半ばにフランスのプロヴァンス地方に現れた民俗学の論文であり、「ヴァルト」と呼ばれています。 レスター・コンツとの英国女王エリザベスの絵画も、彼女の名声を得ています。 ヴァルスは、オーストリアとドイツで踊った地域の地方の違いを取り入れて、19世紀初めに開発されました。 特に北オーストリアの "Land Lob der Enss"ダンススタイルが地域に適用されている "Londler"は非常に人気のある名前です。 ヴォールは、ヨハン・シュトラウスの音楽の影響を受けてウィーンの大衆に短期間で到達し、1812年以降は貴族の好みに勝つために不可欠なエンターテイメントとなった。 現在、ワルツは世界舞踊文学の2つの異なるリズムとカテゴリー、すなわち「Vienna Valsi」と「Modern Vals」に属しています。

Çıkış kaynağı, 16. yy ortalarında Fransa’nın Provence bölgesinde ortaya çıkan ve “Valto” olarak adlandırılan folklorik bir danstır. Hatta İngiltere Kraliçesi I. Elizabeth’in Leicester Kontu ile bu dansı yaptığı tablo büyük ün kazanmıştır. Vals 19. yy’ın başlarında Avusturya ve Almanya’da dans edilen bölgenin yerel farklılıklarını bünyesinde barındırarak gelişim göstermiştir. Özellikle Kuzey Avusturya’nın “Land lob der Enss” bölgesinde uygulanan dans sitili “Londler” adını alarak çok popüler omuştur. Vals kısa süre Johann Strauss’un müziğinin etkisiyle Viyana’da ve 1812 yılından itibaren de İngiltere’de geniş kitlelere ulaşmış, aristokrasinin beğenisini kazanarak baloların vazgeçilmez eglencesi olmuştur. Günümüzde vals “Viyana Valsi” ve “Modern Vals” olmak üzere iki farklı ritim ve kategoride dünya dans literatüründe yer almaktadır.
