Araceae
Araceae é uma família de plantas florescendo monocotiledóneas em que flores são carregadas em um tipo de inflorescência chamada spadix. Também conhecida como a família arum, os membros são freqüentemente conhecidos coloquialmente como aroides. Um estudo genômico abrangente de Spirodela polyrhiza foi publicado em fevereiro de 2014. A maior coleção de Araceae vivas é mantida no Missouri Botanical Gardens. Outra grande coleção de Araceae vivas pode ser encontrada no Jardim Botânico de Munique, graças aos esforços do pesquisador e da autoridade ativa Josef Bogner.
