A ética, às vezes conhecida como ética filosófica, teoria ética, teoria moral e filosofia moral, é um ramo da filosofia que envolve sistematizar, defender e recomendar conceitos de conduta correta e errada, muitas vezes abordando disputas de diversidade moral. O termo vem da palavra grega ἠθικός ethikos do ἦθος ethos, que significa "costume, hábito".
