Fixador
Um dispositivo de fixação é um dispositivo de hardware que junta mecanicamente ou afixa dois ou mais objetos juntos. Os fixadores também podem ser usados para fechar um recipiente, como um saco, uma caixa ou um envelope; ou podem envolver manter em conjunto os lados de uma abertura de material flexível, anexar uma tampa a um recipiente, etc. Também existem dispositivos de fechamento especiais, por ex. um clipe de pão. Os elementos de fixação usados nessas maneiras são freqüentemente temporários, na medida em que podem ser presos e desabotoados repetidamente. Itens como uma corda, fio, fio, cabo, corrente ou plástico podem ser usados para juntar objetos mecanicamente; mas geralmente não são classificados como fixadores porque eles têm usos comuns adicionais.
