A poluição luminosa interior é uma alteração dos níveis de luz no ambiente interno devido a fontes de luz que comprometem a saúde humana. ▪ A poluição luminosa é a introdução por parte do homem, direta ou indiretamente, de luz artificial no meio ambiente. As três primeiras definições científicas acima descritas descrevem o estado do meio ambiente. O quarto descreve o processo de poluição pela luz.
