A lei salica, ou a lei de Salian, era o principal corpo da lei franca que regia todos os francos de Frankia sob o domínio de seus reis durante o antigo período franco, no início da Idade Média. As leis foram mantidas em forma escrita em língua latina por um comitê habilitado pelo monarca. Dezenas de manuscritos datam do século VIII de uma supressão original putativa no século 6 e três emendas até o século 9 sobreviveram. A lei salic forneceu a codificação escrita do direito civil, como os estatutos que regem a herança e o direito penal, como a punição por assassinato. Tem uma influência formativa sobre a tradição do direito estatutário que se estendeu aos tempos modernos na Europa Central, especialmente nos estados alemães, França, Bélgica, Países Baixos, partes da Itália, Áustria e Hungria, Romênia e os Balcãs.
