A usura é a prática de fazer empréstimos monetários não éticos ou imorais destinados a enriquecer injustamente o credor. Um empréstimo pode ser considerado usurável devido a taxas de juros excessivas ou abusivas ou outros fatores, mas, de acordo com alguns dicionários, simplesmente carregar qualquer interesse pode ser considerado usurário.
