Ogier

Garanhão - adulto, não castrado, capaz de produzir equídeos machos e camelo. Este termo geralmente é usado em referência a um cavalo doméstico. Um macho jovem, antes de atingir a puberdade, é comumente referido como um potro. A maturação sexual de uma cabine de cavalo doméstico geralmente atinge a idade de 2 anos, mas o interesse na égua pode ter sido mostrado anteriormente ou muito mais tarde. Os garanhões raros não mostram tal interesse. O garanhão é geralmente forte, o caráter individual e requer disciplina. Às vezes, seu temperamento sexual pode torná-lo perigoso - então, um tal cavalo é castrado.
