O nevoeiro é um fenômeno meteorológico que reduz a distância da visão horizontal a menos de 1 km. Também é conhecida como a formação da nuvem Stratus perto ou perto do solo. A condensação ou congelação da cristalização do vapor de água no ar resulta em pequenas gotículas de água ou cristais de gelo. É chamado de um sise leve, que não cai muito. Pode haver chuvas muito pequenas sob a forma de névoa no nevoeiro. Como é útil do ponto de vista da agricultura, impede o aumento das temperaturas durante o dia, porque está obstruindo o sol e tem um grande efeito negativo no transporte marítimo, terrestre e aéreo.
